SunHot Conformal Coating (Polyurethane modified three-proof adhesive) SK-7000W-L is a cutting-edge three-proof adhesive derived from special synthetic resin and multi-component copolymer modified polymer resin. Unlike traditional three-proof adhesives, SK-7000 forms a dense protective film on printed circuit boards (PCBs) through an adhesive reaction with air. This coating provides robust insulation protection, significantly reducing or eliminating performance degradation caused by environmental factors. The three-proof properties of this adhesive include moisture-proofing, salt spray-proofing, and mildew-proofing, alongside resistance to cold and heat shock, aging, radiation, ozone corrosion, and vibrations. These properties enhance PCB reliability, increase safety, and extend service life. Additionally, it prevents leakage, supporting higher power and closer board spacing, thereby facilitating miniaturization. The SK-7000 series three-proof adhesive boasts stable temperature resistance ranging from -40℃ to 125℃ and ultra-low water absorption for excellent moisture-proof effects. Its paint film offers good flexibility to eliminate stress between components, while its strong adhesion protects against corrosion from salt spray, weak acids, and alkalis. With superior weather resistance and resistance to hot and cold shocks, this adhesive effectively safeguards products, ensuring long-term durability and performance.

This product is composed of modified polyurethane resin and appears as a light yellow transparent liquid. It has a specific gravity of 0.970±0.100 KG/L at 25℃, a viscosity of 14±3 seconds using a 4# Tu cup at 25℃, and a solid content of 30.00±3.00%. The halogen content is qualified according to IPC-TM-650-2007 standards. The drying time at 25℃ and 70% relative humidity is hardening within 2 hours and full cure within 168 hours. Performance indicators include adhesion at level 0-1, water absorption rate of ≤1.0%, qualified paint film flexibility and heat softening resistance, UL-94HB flammability rating, volume resistivity of 10^13 Ω.cm, and no corrosion or damage in acid and alkali resistance tests.

APPLICATIONS

HANDLING AND SAFETY

Workers should wear protective equipment, such as masks, gloves, aprons... The temperature and humidity of the production site should be controlled at: temperature 10℃-28℃, relative humidity The upper limit is 85%, and it is optimal under the condition of ≤70%
Make sure that the container containing the three-proof adhesive is clean and dry and free of any form of contamination. If there is contamination, stop using it immediately and replace it with a new three-proof adhesive
Under normal circumstances, there is no need to clean the coated surface before coating. But make sure the surface to be coated is dry, clean and free of Oil, dirt or any impurities
Maintain good ventilation equipment in the workplace to better protect the health of personnel
Keep the three-proof plastic container tightly closed to avoid the intrusion of water vapor, etc. Please read the Product Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) before using this product.
